Luke Davenport
Luke began racing karts competitively at 8 years old, taking part in the national Stars of Tomorrow series in his first year with the Philip Charles Race Team. Starting out within a high quality team was a great experience for him and he learned quickly from other drivers his age in a team environment.
In 2006 Luke joined Uppingham School and being away from home meant that he has only been able to compete occasionally so began to play rugby as an alternative. In order to stay fit Luke has represented the school 1st XV and captaining the County Leicestershire U17 XV aged 16, touring South Africa and Australia along the way. Luke has now completed his A levels and is undergoing an intensive testing programme with Accelerate Driver Development to achieve his ultimate aim of competing at Le Mans.
