Promising Start to 2012 Season For ADD Drivers

Oulton Park saw Luke Davenport make his debut in The Ginetta GT5 Championship with a stunning qualifying performance which put him 4th on the grid for race 1. Nerves got the better of Luke in his first race start and a stalled engine meant that he had to start the race from the back, but an amazing drive through the 26 car field saw him battling for 8th only to be pushed wide into the barrier at Old Hall. Race 2 meant he started at the back again where he climbed his way through to midfield which dictated his starting position for the final race where he eventually finished a credible 9th.
Next race Rockingham on 10th June.

Dominic Pettit also made his debut at Oulton Park in The VW Racing Cup with an impressive start from 4th to lead the race on lap 1. With his under-powered Jetta against the rapid Golf's Dominic made good use of his wet weather skills to finish an impressive 3rd making the podium for his 2012 debut. A last minute sponsorship deal was concluded with The Vindis Group who are VW dealers in and around Cambridge. Dominic's car only turned a wheel for the first time this year 3 days before the event at Oulton.
Next race Brands Hatch 20th May.

Roberto La Rocca scored a pole, race win and fastest lap at VIR in North America in the opening round of the F2000 Championship in his HP-Tech Motorsport Van Diemen with a flag to flag victory. In race two he did the same which gives him a commanding lead in The North American F2000 Championship.
