Liam Venter from South Africa joins ADD

Accelerate Driver Development have recently signed 17 year old South African Liam Venter from Johannesburg for their 2012 race programme. Liam is contesting The 2012 Intersteps Championship in The UK with Falcon Motorsport.

Liam has nine years experience mainly in South Africa karting but recently was selected by BMW for the Talent Cup Competition. Graeme Glew Managing Director of ADD said "I met Liam at Donington Park at the recent opening round of the Intersteps Championship where he qualified well but lost out in the races mainly due to inexperience. We now plan to accelerate his learning curve over the next few months with a view to fast tracking him to a test programme during the winter months. Drivers are getting younger every year and Liam impressed me both in and out of the cockpit so he appears to have all the qualities and raw speed, we just need to 'fine tune' him"
